During a free phone consultation, we’ll talk briefly about what is bringing you to therapy, and you can ask what a typical session with me is like, or any other questions you have about therapy with me.

Initially, it may be helpful to think of the first few sessions as testing out the waters together. During these sessions, you’ll be able to see how you feel working with me. My approach is not going to work for everyone. What’s most important to me is that you find someone who you feel is the right fit for you. We can explore that together.

  • The total duration of therapy varies for everyone, as each individual client and their situation is unique. At the beginning of our work together, and throughout the process, we will talk about your goals for therapy, where you are in the process, and how you will know when you feel ready to end therapy. Change is not a linear process, and can ebb and flow. We will work together to find the length of time that works for you.
